It lives! I've been lying here awake since 3 am (again) poking and prodding these words, trying to form them into something malleable, wondering if they will take shape and rise from the ashes like a Phoenix, or merely become verbal diarrhea dribbling down the page (noice imagery)
I think I need to get the interior decorators in too - pink and green was awfuly nice 3 or 4 years ago, but now, definitely unscmick!
What's been going on in my world since last I posted?
- I went to Peru - magic mythical place that she is
- I woke with a strange man in my bedroom - no it was NOT a pleasant experience he was going through my handbags! adrenaline kicked in mighty fast and I screamed a warriors cry while chasing him over a 6 foot paling fence out back - I'm not sure who was more scared in the end, I mean have you seen me in the morning?
- a man ripped out my heart, tore it in 2 and shat on it from a great height. ok so now you know where Sian gets the drama queen stuff from.
On the flip side
- I went to Peru - did I mention that?
- I got a new ipod :) silly git stole the oldest crappiest one in the house :) :)
- I realised I have the warmest most nurturing friends in the world
And I have to say NO I haven't grown up and NO I don't want to! 4th of September Riverfire. Yes I know the F111's are a big waste of our money, but this is "the last time" I know they said that last year too :). They can say it for the next 10 years for all I care. I'm glad I have the kids this year and we can enjoy it together. I love the memory of the earliest times I saw it - when workplace health and safety did not exist and they were a few hundred feet closer to you than they are these days. When you could feel the heat from the fuel dump and your cheeks took on a nice rosy glow.
The day expo opened, when we sat like some prematurely old couples twittering the sparrows until the wall outside lit up like daylight and we sprang up screaming loud expletives, hearts pumping and suddenly rejuvenated. Then entered the 6 months of constant bands, fireworks, parties & holidays that was expo 88, any wonder I like the fuel dump and it's memories?

You totally rock!
