I have to admit on sunday when I set up my post I had this picture picked out, somehow it didn't make it up! The digital equivilent to the photo sliding down the back of the couch I suppose - so apologies Lindsay!
I know this young man has a football grand final this weekend too so

Who remembers heading up that huge hill, cardboard box under arm and sliding down as far as you can go and Bailing out just before you hit the fence?? We used to all do this as kids but you know my kids had never tried the hill slide on cardboard. So with friends we rectified this shortcoming yesterday.
A beautiful weekend at Maleny with friends, BBQ's, walks to the creek, meeting the farm dog and chooks, kids crunching on toffee apples. Loved it!

oooh lookie only 2 weeks and I'm back! lucky you, actually lucky me I've got my tennis elbow back again and I'm lucky that I can type! Tried out some acupuncture this afternoon and it seems to be doing the trick!
Seems like we'll be missing the ekka this year - with the flu and tummy bugs going around I just don't want to risk it, probably part of being a single mum - I can't imagine how hard it would be if all 3 of us came down with the flu, it's so debilitating and a real flu as an adult is hard enough I can't say how I would feel if either of the kids came down with it, breaks my heart to think of it really.
I'm trying to clear out my scraproom still - so I've done a few more Club Stamp projects and just love this mini album I made from their project kit this month - I made it to remind Sian how wonderful she really is as she still lacks in self confidence and doesn't believe how gorgeous she is.
an eeeeeew moment - i went to clean out one of the old kids toy boxes - full of skipping ropes old trucks and bulldozers, it sits next to the bird cage and oufns a huge mouse nest - guess what I'm doing tomorrow - demousing!
